Welcome Affiliate member,

I would first like to congratulate you on being chosen to affiliate/associate with Phi Sigma Kappa at NIU. Over the next several weeks you will be embarking on a journey that every active member of Phi Sigma Kappa has gone through. During this time you will learn the true values of fraternity and the history of Phi Sigma Kappa. It will be very important to put effort into everything you do because it will affect your position in the fraternity once you initiate. It is also very important that throughout these next weeks, you continue to excel in the classroom. Scholarship is a very important aspect of Phi Sigma Kappa and without it, you cannot become a member of the fraternity.   

Although you may not yet be able to wear the Phi Sigma Kappa letters people throughout campus will recognize you as a Phi Sig. It is for this reason that you must remain on your best behavior. Treat everyone you meet with respect and make sure your actions will not bring negativity towards the fraternity and yourself. If you maintain your scholastic performance, treat others with high respect, and effectively manage your personal conduct this will be a great and enjoyable process for you.
